Why Redlands?

I applied to Redlands because I had attended a conference here through my church, wanted to apply to four schools, and liked the campus. I didn't really think that I would end up here, since I thought that it was a little too close to home for me. When the responses came back from schools, however, I could not chose the school I had been planning on attending (APU) because I did not receive adequate financial aid. I had to make the choice between the U of R and UC Berkeley, and while Redlands was too close, Berkeley seemed too far away. In retrospect, coming to this school was one of the most fortunate choices I have ever made. I am greatful for the small class sizes, the excellent academic instruction and interaction I recieve daily, and for the relationships I have been able to form as a result of studying here.
